o/t- canary islands for a change

anyone have favoured islands, & places to try / avoid?

been to lanzgrotty once.. ok if u like rocks i suppose!

is there mucg difference in flight times, to the others? and weather? planning a jan/feb 2006 getaway.. 8)

Gran Caneria is the nicest i find. Nice resorts and good beeches.

It depends on what are you looking for. If you want big resorts in very very touristic places then Gran Canaria, Tenerife or Lanzarote are your choice, if you prefer beautiful quiet islands then I would definitly go to La Palma (la isla bonita) or La Gomera

I actually liked Lanzarote - I loved the landscape, loved the caves, the fire mountain and was quite impressed with black sand..

Fuerteventura - is fantastic!!! Chilled as anything

I hated Tenerife and Gran Canaria - to english, too many football tops
