I work on the fourth floor of my building, so today I decided to start taking the stairs to and from my occasional cigarette breaks. I'm feeling healthier already! :lol:

Just think of the money and time I've saved on a health club membership! I figure if I keep this up until June I'll be well fit for the beach 8)

I hope you're running up them, not walking - whilst carrying something heavy :lol:

I feel very unfit today after overdoing it this weekend.

Back to it tomorrow though!

By the time the bug really bites you'll be smoking 60 a day!:lol:

True! How's that for catch-22. In order to expand my workout regime, I'm going to need to start smoking more :lol:

That is a very good idea. It would also make great use of the 3 or 4 flasks I've received as gifts since I started living here :lol:

The flasks would also make great hand weights while climbing the stairs! Full body workout with cigarettes and vodka! :D

Secret of looking aesthetically fit is 90% diet, 10% workout. It's a simple Mass Balance Equation.

mt = mc + mi - mo

mt = mass total
mc = mass current
mi = mass in
mo = mass out

I need to get a life.:? :lol:

I get the concept of "mass in", but what exactly does "mass out" entail? 8O

Energy expenditure.

I know what he means, but i believe the ratio to be more 60(diet)/40(exercise). If you want to look toned, only exercise will achieve that.

How's the stair climbing going anyhow?

Going well.. didn't feel the knee on the way in this morning, but haven't gone on a cig break yet.

I thought "mass out" would be something more interesting :lol:

Evidently not :lol:

Not a phrase i know of, but i know what he means. Basically calories in vs calories out. Less in than out you burn fat. Less out than in you gain fat etc etc etc. Zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

I understood what he meant, Drew.

I just thought the phrase deserved a much more interesting explanation :lol:
