Late last year there was a lot of talk about the council imposing strict new closing times on the clubs.

Dose anyone know what happened to these plans :?:

they were inforced on most places last year.

clubs closed at 6 or 7.

Thanks Robo

How dose this work, do they close the bar and let the DJ play on or dose it all stop at 6am :?:

Dose Space open earlier to get the fall out or do we have to stand around for a couple of hours :?:

Dose these new closing times apply to Privilege and Amnesia :?:

it applies to all clubs.

its not as organised as u think.

I have heard from numerous people that in amnesia, for example. A security person who works there goes into the dj box, and pulls the plug no matter what the dj is doing.

:(

sounds strict.

As a local dose it work or is it a pane in the ass :?:

All closing parties i've been to at Amnesia last year lasted longer than 8am, Some even lasted longer than 9am! (Cocoon, Cream, La Troya).

Not really that bad.....we went to Greece last year and they have a law in that the music has to go off at 1am!! Def wouldn't go back mainly because of that.....

Last year at Cream (first Tiesto, then PvD), Paul plays his last track ending at 7am.
He kills volume, goes away, comes back because of loud cheering, puts on one of his own tracks, volume gets killed by security after less than 10secs.

At least 7am... been in Thailand the last few weeks - there´s a curfew at 2am ! Enforced by police (!) at 2.30... and they are changing it down to midnight (except zones around Patpong, Phuket and the road to ReggaePub on Ko Samui)

Yeah I've been in Amnesia when they wouldn't let the DJ play one more tune. They seem to be quite strict on it there. Pacha was open till bout half 7. Its a shame, one of the best things bout Ibiza was never knowing when the party was going to stop
