My new toy ROCKS!

Took delivery of this baby on Tuesday (which explains my light posting over the past 48 hours)

This phone rules! It runs on Windows Mobile so it syncs up all your contacts and calendar perfectly with Outlook. It's now all set up with my email account too, and websites look great on the Pocket IE browser

I put in a 1gb mini-SD memory card that's now loaded up with programs like SimCity, Othello, an AIM/ICQ/MSN/Yahoo instant messaging program, MP3 player, Russian-English dictionary, etc. And I downloaded a GPS map of London 8)

It's also got a separate SD card slot, where my 1gb card now holds several CDs of music! (the iPod gets relegated to use only on long trips).

Very cool. 8)

Well, it wasn't instant. I couldn't get outgoing email working until last night. It also took some trial and error to see what programs worked properly (and research to find cool programs I didn't have to pay for!)

All appears to be well at this point.

What happened to your new phone, Chewie? (and which one did you get?)
