Monitor Speakers?

Can anyone suggest some good monitor speakers in the sub £100 bracket

And can anyone answer this question, if the speakers aren't powered, Im gonna require an Amp as well ain't I?

Would I be better getting an Amp and unpowered speakers, or getting speakers with a built in amp?

Help me tech bods. Please!

Depends where you are using them

I play out in a club that has no monitors so I take an Eltax speaker of my own and my Cambridge Audio amp & just run them off the monitor output of the mixer....

If you're only spending £100 then your only choice will be speakers with built-in amps.

Bruce has Numark ones with built-in amps and they're fine, he's played with them in the backroom at Headway:

i don't know the price...but JBL with built-in amps,in israel most of the dj's use this speakers.

or,you can buy EAW its cost more money but its great speaker.
