hi

i saw, that a lot of users are from london. i will be there from the 19th-22th may (wednesday-saturday). i come from zurich in switzerland ... could you recommend me a club or a party i have to go to on those days in london? i prefer house music.
and on which streets do you buy your clothes? i don't want to spend tooooo much but for some t-shirts or jeans it should suffice.

sorry for my swiss-english and thank you for your tips ;)

Hi Heros

Listings won't be up to date yet for most London clubs but try the following links in a couple of weeks to see who's on when.

www.ministryofsound.com
www.turnmills.co.uk
www.the-end.co.uk
www.the-cross.co.uk
www.fabriclondon.com

Are you still here for the Saturday night cos I know a lot of Spotlight people will be going to Ministry as some of the Spotlight DJs are taking over the Baby Box for So............ the line-up in the main room will be wicked as well.

Fridays you've got The Gallery @ Turnmills but that is bit harder and trancier altho the back room is funky. The End sometimes has good line-ups on Fridays, I think the wkend you're here could be Sneak's bi-monthly residency.

Like I say in a couple of weeks all listings will be up to date then give us a shout if you want more information :D

Re clothes the main shopping street is Oxford Street but that is a bit of a hell-hole altho check out Selfridges cos they do a lot of makes like Diesel etc.

Otherwise I would try shopping in Covent Gardens, there's all the high street shops there plus lots of little one-off shops.

Hope that helps, let me know if you need anymore info ;)

You need to check out www.harderfaster.net they have all the information you require as they have calendars going up for the next few months. This is a wicked sight full of clubbers who like to have it hard. Some excellent threads also and they do meet ups..Go on check it out ...

Great plugging Babs! Only just seen it!

Just realised that your holding out on me getting the club stuff to full fledged business sized So... you can be head of marketing - that's why you're not working! Its' gonna take me a while Babs, but your implicit application is duly noted. ;)

yeah, know that one too! opens dead early for the 'flower sellers' but is just packed with loads of wasted stragglers...good people watching venue!

Yeah the 'wasted stragglers' is probably us lol 8O  ;)

So tell me bout the one in Clapham, are the roasts there as good as The Lock Tavern (and more importantly do they do a veggie roast)??

well ,they're pretty damn good! perhaps on a par with 'the dove' (up the same neck of the woods)... they defo do good veggie specials, AND it's 2 mins away from the Falcon which is my favourite london beer garden...great way to spend your summer sunday, though possibly not as 'raw' as the hackney version!!!

Sounds good :D Maybe I should check out the fancier South London way to spend Sunday instead of the East End way 8O  ;)

Have you not tried the roasts @ The Lock Tavern yet (you know in Camden, Jon Carter's pub), if not def add that to your summer Sunday itinery ;)

i've drank in the lock tavern, after mingling through the maket, but haven't eaten there..i have OFFICALY now added it to my forthcoming 'sunday roast itinneray'!!

my tip for the summer is the falcon beer garden, right outside clapham north tube, does big thai BBQ (does veggie stuff), tunes, huge spacious beer garden etc...great place to spend any day when it's hot!!
