Live music in Ibiza 2005

To all live music lovers,

How’s it going? The purpose of this thread is to promote live music in Ibiza.

We’ve started it in response to queries from some of forum users about bands playing on the White Isle.

Also we’re down with Andy McKay from Manumission who told us back in April: “There is no holiday destination for live music - and why shouldn't it be Ibiza?”

'Mish ressie and Twisted Hip lead singer Jus Rock also makes a good case for this form of entertainment: “It’s gonna be a better summer for going to see musicians play and pushing things in a different direction. It’s life-enhancing.”

We would like to invite all purveyors of live music in Ibiza to get involved and post away, in English o español o italiano oder deutsch or whatever.

If anybody has any specific questions for the promoters of live music and/or the musicians themselves, then we’ll do our best to get an answer for you.

Or better persuade them to become forum members and they can do it themselves.

If you’ve got photos, please start a thread in the Club Reviews forum and then link it to this one to save loading times. Like the one immediately following this.

Cheers!

As we're sure you've noticed we are now in partnership with Manumission. You can buy your tickets for Monday night mayhem and Friday nights with Ibiza rocks here:

Ibiza Spotlight calendar

Of particular interest might be the appearance next week (Friday, August 12) of perhaps the best rave band ever, Faithless.

They'll be appearing with Goldfrapp, the Futureheads, Jacques Lu Cont, Rob da Bank, Paul Epworth & Zane Lowe.

Riot prediction - Kaiser Chiefs @ Ibiza Rocks sold out

Are you in possession of a ticket to see the marvellous Mylo, Xfm's Eddy Temple Morris, Gary Lightbody, Jagz Kooner and the hotter 'en hell Kaiser Chiefs at Ibiza Rocks tomorrow night (Friday September 2)?

If so then keep hold of it, because there aren't any more available.
