LIVE FROM SPACE ABOUT NEW TERRACE!!!

I'm just listing to the ibiza global radio live from we love...and they say that the new terrace is already done... unfortunetly the roof is all black and you cant see the sky...
anyone who saw it today or yestaerday?...
 
I heard the announcement during Danny Howells' set. Mind blowing music. 8) I'm not sure who's on now...maybe Groove Armada. :? Sounds good right now...whomever it may be.

i can't believe you don't appreciate superstyling and strings of life (again)

i've already spoken to the management and arranged for tom novy and groove armada to play b2b on your september visit :lol:

i popped in for a couple of hours yesterday afternoon and here is the verdict:

many, many people can fit in there and there is a lot of light because of the huge windows to the front. the sound system is perfect and apparently they carried on until 6 am yesterday - i am sure dr. mick will confirm that (much) later today

it has a low roof and the traditional raised steps and bars around the dance floor, giving it an amphitheatre-type atmosphere. if i had one gripe, it is that it looks a bit utilitarian - but then again, the workmen were still in there 5 minutes before it opened hammering and painting :lol: so there might be room for improvement.

the best thing about the whole shebang is that they continue the outside terrace with space rezzies - you now have so many options in one club.

i wasn't there for a dance, just to look see, but i reckon it has potential ;-)

be interested to hear other people's opinions!
 
i was there yesterday and the terrace is f***ing amazing, the soundsystem is really hot, it looks great from the outside and feels 100% bigger to me now the speaker wall has gone! i wasn't there during the day but the roof looks pretty fully covered over, not sure how much light will get through, its so much better than i had expected, £2.5 million well spent!

Anyone know if there are plans to keep the 'temporary terrace' active now the main terrace has opened ?

I was in Space on 10th July and thought the 'temporary terrace' was fantastic - MUCH better than the one they have had previously

I think my wife was right when she said that the absence of a podium right in front of the DJ really opened the area up and made it less cramped.

I just loved it and would hate to see that terrace close now the new one is open.

PS - the new terrace looks ace. 3 weeks to wait to give it a whirl.
 
both the roofed terrace and the side terrace stay open simultaneously. the roofed terrace will then continue after midnight, the side terrace shuts at midnight.

the roofed terrace will continue to be called the 'Terrace' whilst the side terrace is now called the 'Sunset Terrace'

you heard it here first ;)

looks like its a got a kinda warehousey feel to it. Shouldn't judge it though till you've been.
