La Troya London

wish i'd gone, i thought i would be a good boy and work on my essay over the weekend, but ended up drinking til 4am anyway and screwing up my sunday. Sometimes I think I should just own up to my own inability to work on a weekend and go on massive benders anyway..

Yeah i went. It was a pretty good night. Was packed but not too packed. They did the usual floor show where baby marcellocame on to the floor on her stilts etc. London crowd seemed a bit miffed by it all with only pockets getting into the party mood at this stage and it seemed as if those pockets were people who had experienced the real thing in amnesia.
Music was good....mostly funky house. Afraid i cant tell you much more than that on the music front.
It looked like the night was a success and there was still a good crowd there at 5am.

It is very good. My view on it is that it was amazing a few years ago but has been getting more and more popular and has lost a little bit of its uniqueness because of that but its still good.

I went for the first time last year and had a really good night. Some poeple say it's become more mixed over the years. Not that it makes any difference to me.

what music style?

Dirty House. You probably wouldn't like it IG. The music can be a bit flat at times, but it's more about the people and the atmosphere than the music.

It was wicked. Different to Amnesia, of course - no terrace, for a start. But Oliver played a very good set and even bunged in Age of Love, which I thought I'd never be able to bear to listen to in a club ever again, so loaded with nostalgia has that tune become.
