Hello

Goin to Ibiza 17th Jul which is a Monday for 1 week. Normally Pacha would get the nod but seeing as we're going there on the Tues & the Fri we thought we'd start off with a 'mini' night out just to get us started. Noticed a couple of threads on here the other day slamming Kanya but just wanted to know if this night could do a job??

This is our week plan:

Mon-?
Tues-Defected-Pacha
Wed-Garlands-Eden
Thur-night off
Fri-Pure Pacha
Sat-Hed Kandi
Sun-WLS

Will it fit the bill? Any help apreciated!!

Im a KDF regular in Leeds this night is awsome from music to production and Carlys Angels of course:D Would reccomend it to all into house music(funky,deep,electro) but have not been to Kanya so cannot comment on what it would be like there, all I know is that it goes off big time in Leeds and has a very big following:lol:

You from Leeds then?? Maybe you can give us a bit of background on that while your on!! Go to Leeds every now & again. Went to that Discotheque last Nov & it was quality, what with the flashin dance floor , glamourous decor etc. Went there last month & it was SHOCKING!! Half empty, full of rif raf & this was a Hed Kandi night. Wheres KDF held in Leeds?

I used to see a girl from Leeds & we used to go to that Space sometimes & that used to be OK, whats that like now?

Heard that mini bar in Harrogate meant to be OK too. End of questions!!

Hi, your right Leeds born and bred:o

Yeah steer clear of Discothque started off quality with really strict door policy too(esp HK nights), but then started to get quieter and door policy slipped so the rif raf started to invade:spank: hence the people they originally aimed for no longer wanted to go.

KDF is on every last friday of the month at Mission in Leeds pretty new club just undergoin refurb but still open is over the road from fibre and is set in Railway arches. Would reccomend you goin is 8) and so many beautiful women:lol:

Minibar is ok quite swish but think they forgot air con :oops: gets soo hot, and on fridays doesn't get busy till late, was ok but not worth a long trip small club room and mix of people.

For Leeds it sounds like we like the same sort of scene so heres a rundown:

Fridays:
KDF@Mission last fri of every month(quality)
Gladrags@space ok not bad, sometimes top DJs but can lack atmosphere
Oceana Massive Club very new and big good quality themed rooms, serves up mainsteam/commerical funky house in the big room and various other genres in the other 6 themed rooms over 20's(looking that is:lol: )

Sat:
Federation@blankcanvas 1st sat of the month quality house music at people all night amazing atmosphere! well worth a trip
Speedqueen Recently finished at warehouse but will be back at another venue amazing night very glam and to music.
Oceana as above but over 21's
Groovejet@space: Funky House similar to fridays but better and with better Djs.
Bar Fibre: Amazing bar and music, gets its fair share of gay clients which makes its so good IMO even tho im straight, a must as long as you will feel comfortable, very hot women and much less competition ;)

Sun:
Funkydory@space Big Sunday night always packed very good music, they were all set to do the backroom at eden with bassic instinct but nego's broke down over £'s

Various afterpartys on sat night/sun morning and day if you want them.

Im in Ibiza 24th July for 2 weeks

I work for Kissdafunk so I'm pretty biased; but it's really is such a good night. The next one in Leeds (they are taking their regular summer sabbatical) is on Sunday August 27th and it's at Discotheque - But it's look like the best one yet as it's bagged

Other than that you can catch Kissdafunk EVERY Monday at Kanya. The next one on 17th with Martijin ten Velden, Rob Tissera and Rob Roar. It's a joint party with Phonetic Recordings. The whole team will be there including Carly's Angels.

You can also catch a bit of Very Very Very Wrong Indeed at Space.
Kissdafunk on the terrace on 26th July. Rob Tissera, Jonathan Ulysses, Trophy Twins, Griff, Dirty Rotten DJs. T2 will be VVVWI with Tim Sheridan and Filthy Rich.
