Hi peeps,

Writing to you from the Great White Isle and I have a question. We got in on Saturday and didn´t really feel like going to the Amnesia opening so we decided to bar hop around Bossa. Went to Bora Bora, Club Garbi (don´t get me started. I´ll get into it in my full review) and Kiss Somny. Now Kiss Somny is a beautiful club and played by far the best music IMO. However it was completely empty other than me and my girlfreind and about 3 other people. Was this because of the Amnesia opening or is it always empty? Hopefully there is at least one night that it fills up? I would really like to go when there are more peeps there. Maybe Tuesday night? Not much going on then. Well. Laterz all.
 
Went along last year (Sept 04) and found exactly the same thing. Stunning club with a fairly well known DJ playing but only a handful of people (we were the only ones dancing). We returned again later in the week to see if there was any change but it was exactly the same. We thought it was because we were there so late in the season.
I don't understand.... I went to this club back in the days it was just Kiss, should have been called Piss! Then it was ugly and played chart/pop music, but it was rammed with people.
All the smaller clubs seem to have busy nights and quite nights. All I can suggest is trying to find out from the bars around Bossa when the busy nights are.
What was Bora Bora like, were they playing music outside?
 
Well known DJ was Nills Hess (think that's how you spell his name). Plays Tech-House.
Apparently Wednesday seems to be the busy night. Tribal Sessions from Sankeys in Manchester. Looks pretty good.
