Khumamras

From San An Town past Eden, , past bar M, all the way past the windmill, past the Playa Bella Appartments, 5 mins further round the coast . . .

Its FAB, more chilled than the Strip but equally good view of the sunset.
 
It's way past the Bay, from Bar M you are looking at at least half hour walk round the coast, it's a nice walk tho and it's well worth it, much more chilled than sunset strip.
 
Not very easy to find IMO, took us a while to find it but made it eventually. We were in a car so kept going up and down little side roads to the coast coz we weren't sure which one it was down. :lol:

It's a lot further round the coast from San An than you think, I would advise getting a taxi.
 
........if you get as far as the "Duncan Edwards Sports Bar " on your left....then you,ve just missed the right turn that takes you down to Khummaras.....see you there..
 
its a bit tricky to find, its in Cala De Bou in the bay area......you have to go down a road you can drive to a small parking lot that is always rammed! so by foot would be recommendable! excellent place tho!
i love the view and its really spacy and alternative with yogaclasses taking place there, naked torso drummer dude, ethnic food and settings, hippie waiters and just really fresh!
 
Its VERY far round in the bay, beyond Fiesta Millord Hotels.

If you are near/styaing in the town then get the boat accross but its well worth it ;)

Looking forward to going back again this season :P
 
IG I am referring to the boats the go between the hotels all day and night ferrying passengers between the bay and town. Surely you know about this :?: :?

I think this is quicker than walking all the way round :idea:

IG, yes there are boats that will take you to the likes of Calla Bassa, Calla Conta etc but you can also be boats from various points in San An bay that will take you to the town and back.

I think its costs 1e 60 :?:

We have used them a fair in the past

We used the water taxi a lot last year as we were staying not far from Khumaras (yes.....we know now that its the wrong end lol) and thought it was a fantastic way to travel. Really nice trip
 
god I need to do this, but this year we dont know what hotel we will be staying at, as its a really cheap unspec. trip - didnt know I was gonna land a big deal before ordering, so to keep expenses down we went unspecified - and most hotels we have a risk of staying at are near cala de bou, so that might be nice actually!

I'm planning on staying right by there this summer... what do you mean by the wrong end??
