Tried To Help Brother.
A 25 year old man was detained after he fought with police whilst trying to cross a police cordon to help his 16 year old brother who had suffered an accident on his moped. The man was taken before the judge later in week who apparently fined him 1000€ & gave him 8 months in prison for the attack in which a police officer had his finger hurt. It appears that the accounts of eye witnesses, who testified to the nervousness of the man at the time & the supposed unsympathetic treatment of the police, was not reason for the judge to reduce the sentence.
