Phew! What a night. Best & busiest night this year by far, rocked the joint all night, my only regret is that I didn't record it. We were at full capacity with queues outside gagging to get in. Was mixing like a man posessed and had a great time apart from the mad blonde that pulled my headphones off while I was mixing. A slap across the face followed by a few verbals didn't deter her, she did it again a few minutes later!!! I was absolutely furious!!!

No excuses for what I played, this is working at the coalface folks. Most of the audience would prefer me to play Clubland/DJ Sammy stuff but I keep pushing better tunes at them. I have plenty of tougher Tech House but maybe a bit too much for them, slot the odd one or 2 in ocassionally. Playlist is from around 10.20pm til close at midnight (7.30pm til 9.30pm is 70's, 80's & 90's), and guess what? No R n' B, although I did have a request for 2 pac but ignored it, didn't want to spoil the flow I had going.

At one stage during DONS, IIO & Deep Dish, I had 2 turntables + a sample loop running at the same time while mucking about with the EQ's, it was awesome! The speakers were nearly jumping off the walls. The people on the dancefloor were going nuts! Can't wait til next week...........bring it on!!

It was not pre-planned and done by the seat of my pants as it were. I did mention that I didn't record it. S'pose I could put it back together at home, although, I'd probably take out the Dancing DJ's vs Roxette and Uniting Nations as they didn't really fit in, they were requests.

There is a different type of mix on my website as in my sig, check it out. If and when I get this one done I'll stick it up there too, I'll let you know.
