Loved the Utilities CD, but never seen him play live :oops:

Noticed he's playing We Love closing which is a shame cos we'll be there week after for the big one.

lots of people love him... I'm not too keen on his style of music.. but he's always bouncing around with a big grin on his face... looks like he's having a good time. To me the music just sounds so disconnected...

Im with you. He technicaly excellent but sometimes he just doent make me want to dance
 
I think he's rubbish, I can see that he's technically brilliant but his style of music does nothing for me, then again maybe I'm just getting old :lol:
 
utilities is great!

i've only seen him once playing (we love, july 2006) and then he was great to. he (and nic fanciully who he was playing back to back with) definitely got the terrace moving!
 
music is a bit offset, not boring though. nice guy too. looking forward to seeing him for the 2nd time @ space.
 
Saw him play We Love Sunday's in 2004, he was amazing. Heard his set from the 2006 WMC, which was fabulous. I have heard that he gets a little too technical, but I can deal w/ that just fine.
 
James is great because he's always trying something new! And he brings so much enthusiasm to the decks it's a joy to behold - go James! :D

i remember when he was sasha's protegé and he took him everywhere with him........even when he didn't turn up.:? :roll:
 
Utilities CD is great, his mixing is perfect and very creative. the only live set i've heard from him was the WMC 2006, and i was a little disappointed, because i thought the cd was so much better.
 
i actually like him more now than i did previously.

i think he has calmed down a bit and is a bit less obsessed with the gadgets

he still looks like one of Hanson though.

I was blown away by his cd when I first heard it over a year ago and I had it on repeat in my car for months :roll: Ive seen him play at Space, which from what I can remember was ace, even tho it was partly his fault I got kicked out lol :roll: :oops: and Ive also seen him at Sankeys in Manchester where he rocked the place. Youre right aswell, he is a thoroughly nice guy, even when hes got me accusing him of getting me kicked out of space lol :roll: 8)
