IT'S ALL GONE PETE TONG

I think we can take the advice to go and watch it as a Good Review unless WhiteIsleGirl is just particularly evil and wants to inflict 90 mins of pain on us all :)

Watched this movie today at a film festival here in New York and it's to be released in the UK next month. If you all get a chance, go out and watch it.

Seen it too, and ive mentioned it already on here, but i'll keep repeating it anyway, it's a class film, very funny. Peter Kaye is brilliant in it, great one-liners

Sorry for not elaborating when I wrote the post. It was waaaay past my bedtime and did not want to write my review/comments without being full "there".

Film is getting great reviews in the film festival circuit and I thought it was good. In fact, it has won awards already in several festivals. Check out the details on the website provided in my first post. Then again, anything related to Ibiza can make me biased as I love the place so much. I thought it was great...think you will think the same!

It brought back many memories as some location shots were of my favorite clubs and the music soundtrack just had me going. Many film industry people watched it twice but I only go to watch it once as could not get up early enough for the noon showing. When it opens in the US on April 15, just a couple days away, I'll be sure to watch it one more time.

Djs such as Carl Cox and Paul van Dyk were interviewed in the movie and Coxie and PvD being my old time faves...well need I say anymore? Loved it

As I won't be in Ibiza until closing, have to get my Ibiza dose while I can.

Watch it, all of those that get the chance...think you will like it. Am interested to know what you all think so post your review here please.

Happy Spring and sunshine!

Hi Ferd, good to know you watched it already. :) Where did you get to see it as it hasn't been released? I was not aware of your post on this film as I have not been on this forum in ages. I was very excited to share the release date and review with everyone as the release date is very soon .

Saw it through work (media agency). Magazines like Empire often take us out to special screenings to keep us happy ;)

The release date here is not till late may, just before the ibiza season starts. Makes sense I guess.
Youre right, it does bring back great memories and get you in the mood. So much so that 2 or 3 non-clubbing mates of mine who saw it now keep asking me about going over!! I specially like the clubbing scenes at Pacha and at Cream. That Trisco-Musak track is awesome.
I also think that they deal with the drugs issue in a good way. (funny at times, especially the bunny ;) )

funny thing happened to me it was summer 2003 i was walking around me and my friends in ibiza town minding our own business trying to find tickets to buy for the night, suddenly this freaky looking guy shows up trying to put his hat on my head, so i push him off and he keeps on insisting on it , mind you i wasn't in the right state of mind to begin with having a few drinks in my system  , so i look around and i see all these people with cameras and lights, i confirm and let him put the hat on so he can leave, i look back at my friends and they r on the floor laughing. i was like wth just happened, i run after the crew and ask them whats going on, this girl tells us they r shooting a movie called "its all gone pete tong" from the same makers of human traffic . it will be funny if my drunkass is in the movie. :( u remember this incident mr st0ned dont ya?

It's all Gone Pete Tong won Grand Jury Award and Audience Award at the Gen Art Film Festival last night.

It was closing night and I had a blast at the neverending after party at Aer. I got the chance to meet both Michael Dowse, Director and Paul Kaye, Lead. You know I passed on my card to work with them on future projects! *wink*

It was a kicking party and alot of video was shot so will keep you all posted when it's up on Gen Art's website. What a wild and fun night!

Tonight is the Manhattan Premiere Party with a screening and party with DJ Pete Tong himself.

Bunny or skunk? :? Anyhow, the coke badger was at the after party two nights ago. Hope they caught it on video so all of you can watch when footage is posted on either Gen Art or Matson Films website.

Official NY Premiere was tonight so I watched the film again. I noticed my friend from Scotland is in the film, scene of Frankie Wilde's first set in Amnesia...he's in the crowd. As I have a bad short term memory, he had to remind me that he was in it. He's a DJ himself as is also active on this msg board. Small world, heh.

I must say Paul Kaye is so down to earth and approachable. At every screening or party, he's always around if anyone wants to talk to him and he actually listens despite all the people that go up to him. He's brilliant and I love him. He's on my list to watch and wouldn't be surprised if he gets nominated for best actor on the larger scale.
