.. started a new job a while ago..

got reprimanded about the "angle of the staples" at which I stapled a bunch of documents.. not the actual content of whats inside the document.. no no no.
Apparantley some of the documents had a staple parallel to the left hand side of the page.... and some were ( gasp!) at an angle!

These weren't even going to be given out at any presentation or anything..

I was told that "appearance is everything"...

I don't mind if things have to be neat, but such an issue was made out of it.. and the way it was dealt with, another woman at work told the director, got called into the office and was told, " little things like this snowball into a big effect and I could devalue the integrity of the office"..

bah!.. so patronising!
 
There's so many power trippers around! I remember I got told off about staples once! Its obviously a VERY important thing! :P

sounds effing awful! Bite your lip until you are in a position to tell him to stick his job up his erse. You don't need that type of crap in your life! I'm sure you're so much better than that. Staple his head!
 
^^yeah, I know.. I'm looking for a new one.

Thing is, there will be crap whereever you work. maybe the people, the pay, whatever.. but i'm into putting up with crap like this :evil:
