Over Priced & Overrated In My Opinion.

There nothing special El Parades was boring & I waited til 4.30am to see the water spray us & there was none.

I think the smaller places have better atmosphere?

What do you lot think?

I've never bothered going to Es Paradis before. Really doesn't appeal to me. Clubs like Space though may be expensive but my word, they are worth every penny. Fantastic layout and a soundsystem that will make you weep.

In terms of cheaper places, Underground really is wonderful. Free to get into and not too expensive for drinks.

Oh and nice to see another Super Furry Animals fan on here!

To be honest, of the super clubs, I think El Divino has one of the better price/value ratios... beer and water are 6 Euros and I actually found tickets to one Defected in the House night for 10 Euros!! Plus you can head out on that terrace when you overheat.

Seriously, though... I found the money well spent at Pacha, Space, Amnesia on some of the nights I've had there. Sometimes you'll have an off night and rue the cost, but often it's just plain fun.

The answer would still be the same.

es paradis is a well nice club, i wen for helter skelter once, and twice on fridays (most wanted or something). it's not suited to drum and base, i reckon that it is over-rated but i had a good time there. it looks like like a strip club with all the poles on podiums everywhere ;)

the best night i had out there was a cave rave we went to, which we heard about "through the grapevine" as you do, there was no more than 120 people there at the busiest times but we were there all night and half the day and it was amazing. i reckon if you can find a smaller, less well known night or an illegal rave to go to check it out cos the big clubs are all the same at the end of the day. except DC10 which is the best club in the world, but it closing tomorro.

i went to space, pacha, amnesia, priveledge, eden, es paradis and DC10 and the only two clubs i really thought were anything special were DC10 and space. but still they are all overpriced. and you get alot of people there who are jus there to get drunk tis a bit crap atmosphere wise.

Well of course the guides to 'Ibiza' rate the following clubs as the best:

Amnesia
Eden
El Divino
Es Paradis
Pacha
Privilege
Space

Actually I didn't make the assumption just on El Paradis, I asked about a dozen people as well.

I feel Ibiza is now an over hyped movie, uts nothing special.

its certainly not over-rated, wish it was then this f***ing depression wouldnt be so hard to get rid of now i'm back.

I guess being 25 it was not the place for me.

I went around the West End mainly, Ibiza town & El Parades. Probably cos the season was ending.

The problem was being surrounded by too many brits/yobbo's I mean sure we're all up for a laugh though The Barmy Armies have no respect when trying to sleep. I only got 2hrs sleep in my 1st 3 days

I'm sure the Spanish hate the brits. I knew there would be alot of brits though I felt like I was in London most of the time apart from the times spen on Cala Bassa Beach

It's the place for many 16-70 year olds so age is not the factor.

If you were around the West End mainly then i can see how you formed your opinions. Same for Es Paradis. I am wondering whether you mean San Antonio town and not Ibiza town as you stated.

If you only went to the worst one of Ibiza's clubs then you may think it's overrated. You could also conclude that you went on holiday uneducated about the good places to go, so came back disappointed.

I did do research before I went though not before booking the holiday, which is the reason it turned out the way it did.

I stayed in San Antonio, though liked Ibiza town more when I was there for the day

Ibiza caters for everyone. If you had done your homework you would of found many things you enjoyed, whoever you are or whatever you like.

The rest of Ibiza couldn't be further from that though.

If you only really hung out in the West End of San Antonio you would've missed out on the best bits.

I'm sure there is much more to see, I guess I was in the wrong place

Let's just say you went to a strip club only to visit the toilets.

Better luck next time.

i dont think the commercial clubs are overated..... but i DO think there are usually WAY TOO MANY people in their venues @ the one time 2 have a real dance..... never danced @ places like dc10 or space on sundays due to the amount of people in there......

i preferred the smaller clubs like Underground & La Diosa..... 8)

vaughn's funky room was the ultimate IMHO......
