How much does putting together IKEA furniture suck?!

There obviously should be some kind of service were ppl came to your house and did this.

Uh YEAH, no kidding? I don't know how it is out by you, but they are so cheap at the US stores that they don't even include NAILS AND BOLTS!!!! Then half the time, the boxes have missing parts. Maddening.

everything I've ever purchased there, which is a lot, has come with nails and screws...

me and my mate were actually goin to start doin that very thing lol i think theres a market for it defo :idea:
 
I love it and wats better sometimes i get payed to do it Ha(Sometimes with being a joiner we get asked to put flat packs together witch is really easy money)
 
it makes me feel manly without actually having to know anything about joinery or anything. man builds bookcase. man feels manly.

Yup, there's people in London who assemble flat pack furniture for a living. Assume the service is used mainly by old people and the like

I rediscovered the bag of books you lent the current and I last night. Carry on and I'll do my usual trick of dowsing them in beer! :lol:
