hotels with fresh water?

Last June was my first visit to Ibiza. This September will be my second.

I have two questions...

First... Do all of the hotels have salt water coming from their sinks and showers? I would like fresh water if at all possible!

Also... here in the states... it is very easy to purchase a hotel room for one but then bring in another person or two (or three or eight). Is this just as possible in Ibiza?

Just curious as to what your thoughts would be. Any insight is appreciated.

Regards,
Phillip

I've stayed in 3 different hotels in San An, Talamanca, and Playa d'en Bossa and the water was salty everywhere. We are talking about an island in the sea :D I think the majority of water comes from the desalinization plant but it's still got that salty taste. Most people drink bottled water.

Sneaking extra people into your hotel room can be a gamble, depending on your hotel's entrance layout and such. Usually there are charges for extra occupants. However, for example, the place I stayed last time (Atzaro Apartments) had an entrance away from reception so no one would really have noticed.

I think it depends if there is water shortage or not. :?: :?: :?: .. last time i was there it seemed like there was salt water in every tap.. not this year though..

That would be because they've changed the water supplier this year

the water is drinkable. but tastes very salty.

we have used it for years for cooking potatoes and pasta and brushing teeth, and (aside from the fact that i have no teeth left) have never had any problems.

stick to bottled water for drinking and ice cubes.

that's not true about the teeth falling out
