I'm not going to divulge the sordid reasoning behind this query at the moment 
but I vaguely recall that a while ago there was talk about some of the motorway hotels at Services allowing very short term bookings so that travellers could have a quick kip and a shower in order to refresh on long drives ?
Does anyone know if the idea ever come to fruition ?
It would solve a temporary, highly frustrating issue (or more accurately lack of issue)
