Help! What's the best program for recording your vinyl...

is it free? does is record straight to mp3 format or do you have to convert it later? this is my main prob with nero
 
It's not free I'm afraid - unless you do something highly illegal!

I record from vinyl onto my pc and save it as a .wav file, then I burn it to a cd.
 
I use to use sound forge too, and it was nice and simple to use.

Now I'm gonna take a look at Magix Audio Cleaning Lab...

problems....

Hi,
I have heard your "Jez's Ibiza Memories 05" and I like it very much!
I have a problem and maybe you can help me.
I started mixing 2 months ago and I don´t know much about this world.
I would like to burn a CD with a Session made by me with My mixer. I went to Ibiza with my friends for a week and I would like to make a session with our favourite songs, how can I make it? I have no idea..... :?

I use nero which is brilliant for burning cd's - soulman is probably one of the most knowledgeable on this sort of thing on here for any tips you need.
