Spent all day yesterday at the solicitors sealing a business deal, then headed out with all concerned until 1:30am.

Urrggghh!

:(

(where's the throwing up smiley when you need it?)

Hmmm, not really.

There must be someone feeling worse than I?

The volume of champagne we drank was obscene.

(Went to see her at the Apollo last night - she was great!)

sometimes i think i like joss stone and other times i really just don't get her whole vibe............robder help me make up my mind;)

She's raw talent!!! How can you not like her?
It's REAL music after all...;)

The woman was put on this earth to sing - and her shows reflect that...but agreed on her music - I never listen to her cds - you have to see Joss live to fully appreciate her sound, then all becomes clear.

Did you see her at Live 8? 8O

(I fear the breakfast sarnie would end up echoing around the toilet pan if I tried one so I'll give it a miss - ta anyway!)

yeah i agree with all these things but there are also loads of bands, artists, musicians who have amazing raw energy and power.

for example, have you ever been to havana...........there are hundreds of artists and clubs with bands/musicians who have got the most amazing vibe but of course they're never gonna get the publicity joss does.

suppose for a young white girl, she don't have belt it out. (Jazzie B from Soul II Soul doesn't like her:roll: )

So, I'm not allowed to like Joss because other people have talent too?

Well he can kiss my arse!

Any musician that openly speaks out negatively about another shouldn't be in the business in the first place.

Who the fook is Jazzy B anyway?

When it comes to live 'black' music - Incognito beat them all hands down for me. ;)

come on rob.........you know i'm not saying you can't like her, cos i do like her myself.............i just can't work out if I think she's totally amazing or just I quite like some of her tunes.

and do you honestly beleive musicians can't criticise other people in the industry.

if i slag joss stone off does that mean i get to kiss your arse as well;)

Did you hear what Edith Bowman said about her when she done a radio one festival?? Edith said live on air that she insisted to be drove to the radio one tent which was about 20cm away

Put me right off the drama queen after that :spank:

I quite like diva tantrums...but then again - I see them from a different viewpoint being a bloke and all.
(I was really pleased when Grace Jones turned up late for her NYC gig for example! )

I wasn't at the Apollo to watch her be a diva, I was there to appreciate some talent - which she's dripping with!

...and she was quite giggly and girly on stage too - every bit the 19 year old.

Give the poor bird a break! She might actually be nice if you dare to look past the heresay from heat magazine and radio 1 etc.

(And if it was me, I'd want a carriage to get me to the radio 1 tent plus a golden teasmaid on my rider! )
