Did anyone hear that Glasgow has more men than woman. They have 3 woman to every one guy up here!

Is that why I can't find a decent guy? ;)

Heard about that yesterday. Thats not quite the statistic though, its somethin like 54% women and 46% men
 
Well, at techno nights, it certainly seems like that!

On the whole, I'd say it was pretty even though.
 
there's times when you go out and you feel like you're surrounded by men, and then at times where you feel like you've walked into a huge ann summers party!! lol
 
i've found harder the music the more men, but since I don't like really heavy music I probably go to where all the girls go.

Where in glasgow do you go out clara?
 
I usually go to the Garage, Edwards Bar or the Sports Bar which I really like. I like to usually go somewhere different but i'm usually around the Sauchiehall St area.

Normally just the Arches, start off in The Arches bar. Bit bored of it at the moment though, so been going to lots of new good places up here.

Gonna try out some different places in Glasgow soon though, like the Subclub
 
i've been to the sub club once, and i thought it was quite good. never been back tho!

don't like the arches much, ok for concerts but its too dark and scary for me! :D
 
Fergie, I said that there were more men than women at techno nights. This makes it a great place to pull, although not that I'm after anyone at the moment!

Emily, I tend to go to Pressure & Death Disco at The Arches, Optimo & Relentless at Sub Club and whatever else tickles my fancy but in particular, techno and electro nights.
 
I saw that in the paper today, decided thats why I'm still single! Always found there were more men to women in Ibiza though, so bring it on!!! ;) :D
 
aye, there's maybe more men in glasgow but they're all afflicted with the inability to approach women...think they expect us to do all the chatting up!

I've found the men down south very forward since moving down here, completely different to oor glasgae boys..but not nearly as sexy ;)

missing death disco, melting pot etc. Ye cannae beat a glasgow night out!!! (well apart from an ibizan one, but even then...)
 
at the risk of offending people that live here its probably best not to say, i doubt i could stop myself from slagging it.

Its not one of Englands roses put it that way, ploock on a plinth comes to mind :(

if they're all in Barlinnie how come there's more men than women? Duh
