Garlic Nails

ha ha:) ............mambs you can actually buy special soaps designed for people who cook a lot and handle garlic, spices, stinky stuff basically.

I think they cost about a fiver but are good value and last a while. are there any specialist kitchen/homeware shops near you??? they might have them in dept. stores as well but I couldn't be certain.

No, i have no idea where i would get one of those, sorry

hot water and lemon will help but I don't reckon it'll kill the smell off.

its like when your hand smells if you've been smoking or even just hold a fag. you can wash it and scrub all you like but the next day it still stinks of smoke......................................

BUT with the magic soap (available from all good kitchen stores and some rubbish ones as well) all your problems will be solved:lol:

I'd prob go for the lemon as well if I were you

The better way of taking this smell of garlic is clean your hands just with watter. Put your hands under the tap for a long time and i'd go away. Soap with garlig spread the smell more then taking it away.:D I know it seems strage but is like this

for getting rid of fag smells on your hands I worked out as a kid that the easiest solution was to use a odour neutralising bathroom spray on your fingers.

Worked a treat and I managed to continue my determination to become a heavy smoker by the age of 22 without interference from my parents.

True - it does work - AND it also can be used to whiten the tips of your nails too - a cheap french manicure!!!! :)

ok ok i'll use the freakin lemon.............

another good use of a lemon is (saw this on how clean is your house) when cleaning all that brown/rusty/dirt/burnt stuff off the bottom of your saucepans. if you use lemon, salt and vinegar and plenty of elbow grease, you can get your pans back to as good as new:roll:
