Garlands @ Eden - worth the trip?

A couple of years back, Garlands were throwing the best parties on the island, according to many people. I think they happened about once a month, normally outdoors by a pool, and were totally off the hook!

I never made it to any of them, and now I see they have founbd a home this year at Eden, I don't think I will be checking it out.

I'm not really a San Antonio kind of guy, and judging from the club venue poll on the other thread, people don't like the venue much.

Am I right in not bothering with this?
 
They're still gonna do the pool parties in the afternoons/evenings at Kanya in San an too :D They were still really good last year and they were good at Eden last year :D Win win win

Just booked Sol Bahia Apartments right across the road from Kanya - well chuffed they're having the parties there again!

Any idea of what dates, N8?

I think I've got the logistics perfect this year..... Villa for the first week, in San Rafael, so a stones throw from UNDERGROUND. And right next to Kanya, away from the San An rubble (no offence, people ;) ) for the second week 8)
 
Me & my mates and N8 were staying in hotels right by Kanya last year and the Garlands night was one of my best nights there and they are deffo doing the same this year by all accounts. Free parties such as Bora Bora, Garlands, Funky room at Savannah and Underground were all excellent and the way forward!.

Its gonna be 8) 8) 8)

I think so too, mate asked if i wanted to stay over in PDB and i said no because i love the sunsets and the beach (Kanya) Calo Des Moro (i think its called) is so chilled during the day.

Gorgeous food at Coastline too and its quite breezy which is great for sun worshipers :D
 
Superb, I think you are quite right! It was a Godsend that all the apartments with air-con were booked up in PDB :lol:
 
The Bahia is in a cool location - Ive never stayed there (i am on the 1/9/04 - 8/9/04) but its handy for Coastline and Kanya and Calo Des Moro. One question I do have for anyone whose stayed there is - Does it definitely have air con? It says on their web page that it does , but some of the reviews say it doesnt - can anyone clear this up?
 
Yeah I noticed thre air-con confusion too - I will email them and check now - I have the correct emaiul address as he sent me confirmation. I'm 99% sure it has.
 
NilSatis - All apartments were renovated and air-con installed in all rooms - just had email from them.
 
2nd leg of our trip mate - from 31st July till 5th August - air-con will be essential!!
 
I wont be doing Garlands or any other club at Eden this year.

If Garlands do the beach parties again Ill definatly go
