Funky House Nights!!!

as yet another flyer/newsletter for the ground breaking, envelope pushing, phenomenon that is "tru-do" (aka loads of essex/kent pricks take loads of drugs and dance for 4hrs to house music by numbers played by a "famous dj") lands on my doorstep and im constantly getting emails for some night called "tutti fruti" which is basically 2 local pricks trying to copy the "tru-do".........i ask the question.....whats happening??

is it just me or are these so called "nights" like "the boybands of the clubbing scene"?????

Tru is Tony Truman, bit of a 'geezer', father of Janine from Eastenders baby, runs nights as you mention, often on Bank Holiday Sundays, one price includes entry and booze (about £70 usually(!) and classily (:lol:) a lower ticket price for the laydeez. DJs tend to be known to their crowd only.

A bit of Surrey/Kingston wannabe baby gangster thing....

yeah, have had "the pleasure" a few times due to mrs jjinits love of all things "funky" :roll:

she has a really sycophantic mate who basically is in awe of him...and "janine", all you ever hear when she gets back her pics from the last "do" are...theres tru!!!.....theres another one of tru...theres me with (a slightly worried) tru!!!! :lol: theres dean gaffney 8O 8O :lol:

The only good funky house night like this is at the key on sunday morning. Thats the only time i would go to one of these same as same as funky house nights.

Like i say. I wouldn't go to that sort of night if it was my main event of the night, but as an afterparty its actually quite good with a friendly crowd.
