Am due to go to the April one and would be great to hear any stories of past FMPs.

Also, will there be a generous helping of sexy funky house or will I have to make do with trancey tunes :?:

the parties alledegly wild - trance and goa, the place is mad and full of weird drugt. a few friends of mine were "poisoned" due to bad extacy and stuff....one schould watch one´s vack but with a little commom sense and stuff it schould be o.k - they left thier drinks unattended + they took pills from strangers! 8O i wouldnt mind going, but would mind my every step tho!

i went to koh phan in 2002 & although i didnt go 2 a FMP i attended a half moon party & everything was schweet. just be sensible with who u approach for ur supplies & u should be OK...

i heard NO house music @ all ALL NIGHT but it was kinda cool as the SHAKES that i drank arent really "house music friendly" (if u get what i mean?) ;)

BUT.....

be careful with the SHAKES as they differ in potency quite a bit!! 8O

where are you staying?

Are these the same drinks as the red bull equivalent (the name escapes me) that I've also heard so much about :?:

Have heard lots of differing stories re supplies...a mate went last Oct and got offered diet pills :!: :!: ...but will survey the situation once i get there.

Think will be statying at a plave called Vimarn Samut which is meant to be a short walk to the party. Have you heard of it?

yeah the shakes make ur days VERY INTERESTING!!! they are mushroom enhanced & (as mentioned previously) vary in potency so PLEASE be careful with how much you consume as they creep on you without knowing... 8O till you are soooo smashed you are :twisted:

Yeah i've heard all sorts of HORROR nightmare stories but if you are switched on you will be ok.... Scored a few lollies when i was there & they were AWESUM..... Just make sure you ask around & make sure (if you can) that you buy some off someone that you have been told about.....

I haven't heard where you are staying although in saying that I dont even remember the name of the place I stayed @ for the TWO WEEKS i was there??? 8O That's what happens ;)

If you want to check out some beautiful beaches take a boat from Hat Rin (& if you are looking out 2wards the ocean) go TWO beaches to your left & stop off there for a few days..... there's this dude there from the "bamboo huts" place called TREE (spelling??) that has the BEST FOOD on the island!!!! as well as ANY other supplies you will need.... ;)

Cheers for the info dude. Looks as if will have loads to keep me interested... :)

Will be 2nd stop on 10 stop trip so won't be hitting the shops until I reach the States...but likely to have run out of cash by then :!:
 
I think they sound terrific fun .. be nice to go to an outdoor event in a warm country instead of freezing my butt off on the moors of Derbyshire!

You're not gonna believe this!!
I'm actually in Haad Rin now and the party is just kicking off! (how strange)
I've been here for three months and you'll love it mate it's wicked!
Stay on Haad Thien cos that's where all the nutters are...some very strange characters.
To be honest (and you aint gonna like this bit)...the party itself is a bit tacky. Loads of tourists and techno loving Israelies.
Do yourself a favour, go out at Guy's bar on Haad Thien and get a good nights sleep. Then get a long boat to Haad Rin from 11am the next day and do the after party which goes on all day and most of the following night at a club called Back Yard. It's wicked!! Like Asia's DC-10 equivalent.
...talking of which, Jo Mills is staying in my bungalow complex and they did a Circoloco bash on Samui the other day. Wicked fun!...but that's another story. Got to go cos there's fun to be had!

well, good old europe is dead, lets go to asia!!....thailand, ive been there in 1998, absolut best place ive ever been, koh samui, oooo myyyyyyyyy goooooooood!!!!!!!....do you know the movie "the beach"...its exactly like that!
 
I know!!! they filmed the movie on Phi Phi Lei on of the deserted Phi Phi islands, my friend went there and saw the real beach and she loved it!!!
 
...just to put a spanner in the works I think Samui is horrid.
Nasty tourist shite full of prostitutes and McDonalds. The beaches are all ruined too. The only place I go there is Bophut beach cos of the music at 'Gecko'.
Koh Phangan is still beautiful however, Phi Phi is expensive, gorgeous but overrated and packed.
If you want secluded then Koh Phra Thong is the best island.
