fookin scooter riders!!!

Had one drive into tha back of me this morning :evil:

I could see him in my rear view mirror about 4 cars down, weaving in & out, over taking, encroaching the oncoming lane. Knowing that i was turning right into a side street soon i moved out as far as could and whacked on the indicator, he was right behind me now and i was virtually ready to make my right turn.....noticing an oncoming vehicle I slammed on the anchors, then BANG!!!!!! Straight into the back of me.

Thats another one off the road for a bit!! As for my car, just a scratched bumper....and im sure my necks a bit sore ;)
 
A well-to-do friend of mine in London got himself a scooter to get around. He loves it.

I dunno... seems impractical to me given the weather in the UK.

In Moscow there's almost no one on scooters... they'd likely be killed by the insane taxi drivers, businessmen and MPs in black mercedes with the Toyota LandCruiser chase cars full of security guards, or the young kept women in their Lexus SUVs or Mini-Cooper driving while talking on the phone :lol: :lol: Not a safe city to be on 2 wheels.

My friend has just got a new scotter JJ, it best not have been him :twisted: :lol: ;)

we have a "culture" over here of these young idiots careering round on these "sewing machines" with wheels, thinking they own the road, they have no road sense, spatial awareness and some of them think they're driving a ducati 999 or sommat, they are a fookin liabilty, one of em drove into my missus a while back and drove off, leaving her a £200 repair bill....today was for her!!!! :twisted:

babs I would have thought if it was your friend he would be on a "cool" scooter, like a lambretta, vespa or aprillia "habana"?? Not one of these chav machines that blight our highways at the moment (im sooooooo glad syls on her hols, i would be gettin roasted now) :lol:
