Fitness first members?

OK...

*Checks not too many people are listening*

What does everyone do with their membership cards during the workout?
I seem to be the only one carrying mine from machine to machine...I even take it to the shower and sauna (and it's melting from all the heat).
I'm too scared to ask the receptionist such a trivial and potentially obvious question.

FF are crap. (esp the one in st albans)

My Esporta is too expensive (£50 p/m) - has a small pool tho. but they hold mums and kids days on a weekend, so it defeats the idea of going for a relaxing swim early on a weeekend.

i find swimming in the local pond great. its free and yr at one with nature.

Erm . . id suggest putting it in your bag :?

Chow - Esporta right near us charge £65 a month and a 12 month membership fee. I do get all the yoga, pilates, body combat and much more classes i want though and a large pool and 2 juccuzzi's.

Still not going to join though - rip off and theres a few people from work that go there too, dont fancy bumping into them all sweaty :?

Right when you come up here in March that will be the thing we do, yoga and maybe we'll also go for an afternoon jog around the canal , you wont be paid though as im paying for all your meals and a room to sleep in

I dont have to go for dinner @ moms Sunday afternoon now so you can leave when you want ;)

was a ff member for 3 years, mine stayed in my bag, apart from when i buzzed in at reception...seem to remember it had a nice sharp edge ;)

Leave it in your bag (in the locker)

In the branch i use on Sundays (yes .... Sunday  ), you use the card to lock the locker instead of using a pound coin.

If you use the locker, you can then pin the key to your towel.

I can't leave it in my bag because I need the card for the locker.

Hmmmmmmmmm...what on earth does everyone else do?

Ah well, maybe I'll never know.

don't you have pockets in your gym clothes?

Me?

Yeah, but then you need to zip the pocket up so you don't lose the key. Then you can't put your hands in your pocket. The old habit thing.

I meant robder.

I put my key in my pocket and it's fine without a zip up pocket :?

maybe I need to start doing more handstands

I used to keep it in my pocket but kept losing it. So embarassing wandering around the gym looking for it for half an hour at a time. Even more embarassing when you lose it in the showers and have to go looking
