Fiesta Club Playa d'en Bossa

Is this a good hotel? I saw that it is very well located, near bora bora and space. But two things worries me, both of them concern noises:
1) Does being so close to Space means that I won't be able to sleep well? Not that I intend to spend much time in the bedroom but sometime I'll have to sleep.
2) I saw somewhere that the hotel is near the airport and the plannes flies very close to the hotel.
Please if anybody got answers for this questions let me know. Thanks.

the complex is way passed space club, and along way from bora bora ,so you will not hear anything, the planes, yes the whole of pdb is on the incoming flight path, depends which way the wind is blowing.if coming over ibiza town you will hear them, but in time you will get use to it,and if you have kids its a good game to guess which plane companys they are,you have got a 10 min walk say to get into pdb main area where you are,you can get a # 14 bus,its not that far away, your near the water park as well .which is next to space, dont forget you will be given a book.which you must read.it gets you discounts in shops, you can also swap your evening meal to other hotel,so long as you give them 24hrs notice, you may also use any hotel in the group, but everything you need is where you are, sport is good there, enjoy it,when you going ??/

I have stayed in PdB and you won't have any trouble sleeping or be too aware of the noise - don't worry, be happy.......................

Thanks for your answers. I'm going to Ibiza in the last week of june and planning to stay about a week there.

its not way pass space, its actually dead oppossite space, but no there does not seem to be trouble with noise but you will experience aircraft noise.

i see they must of changed it since i was last there in oct 2005,depends on which site they put you on,don toni is more oppossite space

don toni is just passed space the group of fiestas start with club playa den bossa (dead opp space), then don toni, then bahamas then palm beach at the end.

re. Playa d'En Bossa Beach Club

Hi im going to stay at this hotel from the 29th June to 5th July, and I was also there last year.

The hotel is directly opposite space, but as someone else has said, you will not hear any noise as the accomodation is on the beach side of the hotel rather than the road side. Aircraft noise can be an issue if it is something that normally concerns you as the hotel is directly on the extended centreline of the runway, but personally I thought is was fine as the airport is not horrendously busy at night.

With all other things considered (on the beach, 2 mins from water park, etc...) the hotel is well situated.

Hope you have a nice time and I might see you there!

7/8 pints and a few shorts ,you will sleep then.the planes are busy at weekends.all night, but you will get used to it,become a plane spotter, nice when you used to be able t to see and hear the planes coming in at space,

I`ve stayed at the Club Don Toni, you will hear a lot of aircraft noise day and night.
The planes are so low that you can see the windows (portholes).

Also if you sit on the beach at night the headlights light the whole beach up and you can see everyone shagging lol.

Will the noise keep you awake? dunno it didn`t stop me from sleeping after a skinfull, what I would say is I love fiesta hotels and as long as you have air conditioning and can close the windows you`ll be fine.

Here is a view from the hotel don toni which I beleive is the one next door to the Club Playa d'en Bossa.

I staid in this Hotel 3 years ago and a friend of mine is still goint there every year. It's a good hotel with nice clubbing people, at sunday before you go to space you'll have a good laugh at the pool... Space and Borra Borra are really next to you but they really dont mind; you will be able to sleep. The plains, ...you will be hearing them but if you're really tiered this would'nt matter. For the rest; food is not bad, the atmosphere is great. Most of them are Germans.
