I have alot of cash that i need to exchange. Will i get a better rate in the uk or in Ibiza?

I think in principal you will get a better rate in Ibiza but the commission will probably cancel that out and then some!!

I always use The Post Office or Travelex.

They are quoting £1 = EUR1.4481 today which is the best I have seen for a long time!!

It was 1.6 when I went to Italy in late July

Now its crap M&S aer alaso very good no commision

At most Airports you can get it exchanged for a small fee, it was only $5 (flat) to get my money changed from "Dead Presidents" to "Windows and Bridges"

take your switch card and withdraw over there. my total charges for two weeks came to less then 15£ and i withdrew over 1000£ over those two weeks at various points.... much less hassle that way.

Bank charges

What bank are you with? Those charges are really cheap!!!

Certain banks charge a fortune to get money out on visa over there if I remember an article in the paper a few weeks back. Halif*x came out worse

I would suggest Ibiza. In that way, they cannot trace it back to the bank where you "got the money"  .

I like your thinking ;)

It seems that there isn´t much difference in it.

Travelex online seems to be the best

Unfortunatly the exchange rate has gone against me at the mo but i´ve got me fingers crossed for the Pound to strenghen soon
