Hello lovely people....wondering who can be of extreme help to me with this one.... I will be taking the Euromed train between Barcelona and Valencia next week. I have been to and within Spain a gazillion times to but I am so used to flying that this train business is starting to freak me out. Here is the problem: the girl I'm going with cannot travel on my Airline pass so its either we take the train or we hire a car; the oneway fares on IB are more than I'm wanting to spend to be honest. I have gone to the Renfe website and checked my schedule and everything is fine and dandy except that it gives absolutely no information on baggage restrictions or limitations or checkin procedures for that matter. All it says is that we're able to carry on a hand-luggage but what if we have proper large luggages that we need to check in? Do they not have such a thing?? Is it a first come first serve if your bag fits it goes with you and if not tough luck?? Someone please help!!

I haven't take the Euromed myself but if I'm not wrong there's no check in and there's room enough in the wagon for large suitcases, at least in regional trains
 
It's true. I have traveled on the Euromed, and you don't have to check in. All your luggage must pass through a scanner but you can take it again as if it all were hand baggage. There's plenty of room inside to keep it safe.

Roger that. If I am not wrong I took the Renfe to go to Montserrat. I saw people bringing all sorts of luggage on the choo choo train. :lol: :lol:
