i have never been to ibiza... do people approach/hassle tourists with selling drugs?

are the clubs filled with people intoxicated on drugs?
 
it would be naive to think that the majority of the island's clubs are drug free

you will be offered them on a very regular basis

but if you don't want them, nobody will turn their nose up at you, just be sure not to leave any drinks lying about.
 
i think that the caveat to phil's statement is that you will only be offered drugs if you appear to meet certain demographic requirements based upon your appearance. if you look like a complete tw*t then i'm sure you will attract the attention of would be vendors. normal folks will be left unhindered.

i have no idea about the clubs being filled with drug intoxicated people, but the urgencies department at our hospital is. The staff there say they need another department to cope just with the drugged ones whose influx coincidentally starts when our discos open.
 
Ibiza's a holiday destination and like any place so where peple congregare dugs are availble. Theyre not compulsory or pushed, just available. No more or less than any other resort city or town in the world, apart from in Saudi Arabia, but I hear thats just a matter of looking harder. So, if you like getting spangled you can do it the same as anywhere. If youre worried about your kids going, just trust the upbringing you gave them to avoid or use them with care. If you gave them a crap upbringing you'll probably be surprised how well they can still turn out.
