DJing in Ibiza

Hi,

I'm a house DJ from Scotland and was thinking about taking my records out this year to see if I could get some work. Anyone know of anywhere/anyone who could help me?

Apart from taking a box of records over in may and asking nicely, prehaps...

...praying
...wearing your lucky pants 24/7
...finding a few four-leaf clovers
...becoming 'great mates' with a promoter

among others.....

And try to talk to as many people as you can find. Offer for free - don't expect to get paid.. and don't expect to play house. I have friends who go out every year for the whole season.. yet started off in the west end, playing cheese.. but the more people they got to know.. the more contacts they made. They then started playing what they wanted and have secured a place in a room at one of the top venues for this season.. :D
 
Yes you shouldnt expect pay on the first gig you do but if they like you , you could well have a contract there ect.
I might do this next year in ibiza or sum other clubbing capital i dn if theres as much Trance as House on ibiza so it depends !
