I dont want to bring up a scary subject or something but reading the newspaper last week (about a guy who overdosed on liquid) remembered me of a documentar Ive seen of the emergency unit of ibiza (ER). Ive seen dozens of people pass out due overheating in the clubs, and in that documentar Ive seen I think it was in Space, there was a special room were people of the ER were treating, transporting people to nearby hospitals. One guy said in highseason they worked non stop. Now my question is, and I know its maybe a bit taboo, can you estimate how many tourists die every year on the isle.
Again sorry for bringing this up, but then again I think its part of reality of the isle.

Perhaps it should be compulsory for new members to run a minimum number of how much, how many, how long and where searches before they can post :D
 
I did Mambo, but all I found where some news items. And Im sure not all casualties appear on the news. My question is more about people s own experiences, clubbers witnessing people being carried away. I heard outragious numbers of people dying (between 20 and 30 EVERY summer 8O ) this cant be true ofcourse. I guess the right people to ask are the ones of ER, obviously.

One of the guys who live in Ibiza will probably be able to answer your question accurately, but I wouldn't be surprised if your estimate is about right.

Don't forget that they won't all be just clubbers keeling over in clubs though- theres always a few run over wanding around on the main road when they come out of clubs, plus every year there always seems to be a few cases of people jumping out of windows off their faces 8O :roll:
 
When I was in Ibiza in July I heard at least 10-15 ambulances a day! :? :? If that's what I heard in one part of the island how many must there be in total?! It wasn't like that the last time I was there!
