Anyone tell me anymore about this place?? What it's like, what kind of music, any pics, best time to go??

Go on a Monday. When it first opened it was more of a Space Carry On so people would get there straight after Space opening on Monday morning, these days it's more of a club in it's own right. It opens 6am and the terrace opens at 9am but people don't tend to get there til early afternoon these day.

The music tends to be dirrrrrrrty house plus you get big name guests popping up, I've seen Danny Tenaglia, X-Press 2, Tongy and Lottie all play there.
 
It's fantastic. It's Space's evil twin brother that's been locked in an asylum for stabbing to death all the neighbourhood clubs. While they were all babysitting. Or something.

If you like dirty house, a twisted environment and enjoy being mildly freaked out, go.

It's like taking acid, while on acid. :D
 
On the subject of DC10....

Had a chat to Charlie Chester from Circo Loco on Saturday night and he confirmed that there will be no problems with the noise police this summer - why? Well they've spent a shedload on a new roof (which covers the same area as the old canvas one used to) and windows for the gaps between roof and walls - which they can open (in other words the vibe will be exactly the same, but with no hassles with the fuzz)...

Bring it on!! :twisted:

Oh btw - he also said there will be a TOTAL SOLAR ECLIPSE during the DC10 closing party this year!! How about that for freaky??

It's not total, it's annular, which means the moon doesn't quite cover the sun, leaving a ring of the sun around the moon. Not as impresive as a total, but still something I'm going to see. And that also means the DC10 closing date is confirmed: October 3rd.

It's just a bit weird, usually cos most people are off their nut and there's also a distinct lack of sleep going on. Some casualties have been through the whole of We Love Space and then gone straight to DC10 8O

Well, I think I'm gonna do Judgement Sunday @ Eden or Amnesia Grand Opening (the 19th), DC10 for the after party and Cocoon Opening Party for monday nite :twisted: I hope that I wont have a heart attack after that :roll: Getting some rest on tuesday and party on for Subliminal and so on... 8)

HaHAHAHA!!! I think we can all agree this post somewhat captures the vibe, laidjawlock. You can't miss the Monday morning session. Not only is the music sensual and unforgettable (you might see Sasha and Teneglia wandering around in the crowd too!), but the thing I remember most is the people. Everyone smiling and pulsating in time to the drums and bass and uplifting tunes... the sunshine beating down on our flourescent-colored drink glasses and straws... hugging and holding hands with complete strangers that are all having as delicious a time as you are... the experience is truly amazing.

It was so surprising... If you ask me, the place looks like a dump from the outside... but that damn terrace is just a ridiculous good time.
