Daft Punk to soundtrack new Dario Argento film

The French duo apparently requested to work on the film with the legendary Italian director.

For those of us into both dance music and strange Euro-horror films, this sure is exciting news. Been a long time since either have made anything good, but could be very interesting.

25 years in fact.. ok maybe that's harsh. Tron was okaay and I have a soft spot for that Moroder collab.

I'll give it a go.

I have a love/hate relationship with DP. some great music but not one original fibre in their body. they basically ripped off everyone from French disco gods SPACE through to SNEAK, AVH, BUGGLES and beyond

It's more the project as a whole I'm interested in. Argento's Tenebrae had a bit of a disco soundtrack, sampled later by Justice.

Of course, it's just as likely the film and music could be a load of guff.
