After a series of intimate parties in 2012 with the likes of rising star Saytek (Live) & the legendary Nick Harris, CTRL SHIFT is back on a bi-monthly basis for 2013 at a new venue, the industrial surroundings of Relay – Cable's third arch in London Bridge.

Making a 3 hour headline appearance on the 1st February will be none other than Paul Woolford (Planet E/Hotflush/We Love).

Paul is a versatile DJ/producer who refuses to be pigeon holed into one genre & conform to trends, and is instead – more concerned with pushing the boundaries of electronic music. Although his roots may be in jackin' Chicago House & Detroit Techno, he is also closely associated with the New Skool sounds of the UK Bass movement.

He first came to prominence in the early '00s as an integral part of Leeds' Back To Basics night, and started to release music on 20:20 Vision under the alias of Bobby Peru. His biggest release for the label being the classic "Erotic Discourse", arguably the biggest underground track of 2006, which captured the imagination of a wide spectrum of DJs including Ivan Smagghe, Ricardo Villalobos, Richie Hawtin, Francois K, Laurent Garnier & Erol Alkan.

Since then, he's gone on to re-invent himself, and caught the eye of Detroit veteran Carl Craig with a demo in 2009, which subsequently led to Carl signing his Achilles / Razor Burn EP to Planet E, and inviting him to be part of the 20th anniversary tour, which included The Works in Detroit with Derrick May, a road blocked warehouse party in London and a critically acclaimed vinyl set at the infamous Berghain.

In addition to a busy global schedule, other highlights have included releases with Psycatron on Scuba's Hotflush Recordings & Sven Vath's Cocoon label, playing both room one and two at Fabric on the same night, a B2B appearance with Ben UFO on Rinse FM, a double CD compilation – part of NRK's The Lab series, a new white label project under the Special Request moniker, and of course, holding down his longstanding residency with We Love… Space on Sundays in Ibiza.

Joining Woolford & CTRL SHIFT residents, Dan Jury & Andrew Sansom, is another outstanding DJ, the London based French techno wizard, Arnaud Le Texier (Safari Electronique/Cocoon/Bass Culture/Children of Tomorrow).

Best known for being the boss of Safari Electronique (launched in 2005), Arnaud is an artist with great musical knowledge, dedication and substance with a career that dates back to 1990, when he managed various record shops and held down a 5 year residency at Queen in Paris. In addition to running techno & minimal label Safari Electronique, he also runs Safari Numerique, which is more focused on deep house and the deeper side of tech.

His production career, both as a solo artist and with other producers, has seen him release music on labels such as Cocoon, Bass Culture, Bullet:Dodge, Children of Tomorrow, Get Physical, Traum & 20:20 Vision. An impressive portfolio which has gained support from the likes of DVS1, Darko Esser, Kenny Larkin, Loco Dice, Joris Voorn, Norman Nodge, Ripperton, Rolando, Ryan Elliott, Sebo K & Tiefschwarz.

Arnaud's DJing skills are also highly sought after in the capital, where he is a regular feature at Fabric, Half Baked, Melt, One More, Paradox & Wiggle, along with dates all over Europe.
