Crisis and job situation

Of course i make this question to everybody who already live in the island. I'm planning to move to Ibiza in janauary '11 with my girlfriend.
What you suggest regarding the economyc/job situation of the island at the moment?
As i'm Italian, do you think i'de better stay here for the moment?
Even here it's not easy :(...my gf unemployed and i have a job as a kind of receptionist/security with low salary.

Thanks for any advice!
 
If you already have some sort of job then you have probably got more now than you will get in Ibiza in January.
 
that is not the best way to start...
it seems to me a lot of peoples there have summer jobs...but how they can get thru the whole year?
