Dont know if anyone can help me with this one.

I'm gonna try and make my way up to this festival.
I hope you can help me with a few questions?

What time would this start and finish?

I'm travelling from Le Cala De Mijas, its close to Feungirola, benelmadina.
I would probably get a bus to Malaga.
I see the closest big town is Aguilas, do you think a bus would go from Malaga to Aguilas?

Also, would it be easy to get to Playa De Villaricos from Aguilas?

Would you recommend getting accomodation for the night before or after?
or perhaps sleep on the beach?

Sorry for all the questions.
 
I went last year was really good

Think it started about 4pm and finished about 8 or 9am

last year we hired a car so , don't know anything about other travel

but I can tell you that accommodation was a nightmare, we couldn't find any hotels free before we left and all the campsites near by were also full when we arrived on the day of the festival. So I just slept in the car and it looked like a lot of other people did the same.

Check the website cos there's lots of info about accomodation and how to get there from main cities in Andalucía and Spain, including Málaga :D

Also, don't forget that mid august in Andalucía is definitly HOT, so don't forget to take with you sunprotection and a hat to avoid insolation. A beach umbrella or a windstopper wouldn't be a bad idea ;)
 
Thanks very much Silvia, just saw that there.

I've found a lot of info alright about getting there on the site, I think I'm just trying to be too careful, the reason for this is when theres a big event in Ireland, sorting out travel and accomadation can be impossible if you leave it too late.

I think I'll try and book accomodation and worry about the travel when I'm in Spain.

Also, does anyone know would tickets still be available Mid-July, as the website, selling the tickets, dont post tickets to Ireland.
