Cream vs. F*** Me

How is the Pacha F*** Me party on thurs aug 17th. I am torn between going to it and going to cream. I really want a trance fix while I am on the Island, but last year it seemed like Cream was the only party I went to where the love wasn't in full force. It seemed like there were a lot of roid boys and the dancing was borderline pushing and shoving because of it being so crowded. It was the only club I went to in 7 days were the crowd did not seem friendly. Will Pacha be rammed and fun for Bob Sinclair and David Guetta. Also I cant miss Carl Cox late night sessions because it was the best party I went to last year. But I was thinking I could get my trance fix by going to it (Carl Cox at Space) early (if it still starts at eight)till about 2 and then going to Armada to see Armin until Amnesia closes. Would anybody recommend doing this or is it a bad idea? Is Armada crowd just as packed and similiar to Cream or is it a little less packed. I wish F*** Me and Cream were not on the same night but I guess you cant have it all. Thanks for all the help. :?:

F*** ME IM FAMOUS is one of the parties of the summer, only three times and with some great djs, its not he same music and i suggest you go the **** me, ive been there about 6 times and i really love it! cream is not really my cup of tea, i went there last summer cost i could go on the list so ok its good but the f*** me is better!!!

Go to Armada on Tuesday, it doesn't be half as rammed as Cream, and as for a Trance fix, you can't really go wrong with Armin!
 
FMIF seem to be huge parties, as you can read above. i'm quite sure pacha will be packed at these parties.

you're right about cream - often too packed and not the very best crowd - but if you're a trance lover (as i still am ;)), then it's always good.
i've also been to armada last year - very recommendable. it wasn't as crowded as it was at cream and armin is great.

in fact, the idea of combining carl cox AND armada could work. yes, carl cox still begins at 8 and you might go there till 2-3am and then switch to amnesia to catch armin!(last year you even got in for free at carl cox if you arrived between 8pm and 9pm. don't know if it was only for the opening night (because i was there for the opening) or for the whole season and i don't know if they're doing this again...
 
I find Pacha is a nightmare when its busy, people walking through you and putting their fags out on your best clothes! I managed to find a balcony free for Renaissance last year, its just like anywhere really - get a little room and you get elbowed and shuved.. if the music goes off and your not with it you get crushed under a heap of knobs... there seemed to be a lot more than usual in Space & Pacha last year... chav's in big shirts.

I went to Cream and Armada and it was amazing, totally different to the Pacha scene... i wouldn't pick where to go by the Dance Floor space as good night are always busy... but Armada does have a few less people - which made for a really nice vibe on the dance floor... amazing set by Nick Warren... but the lighting is better and everything is just so pumped up at Cream is just the best.

The big thing to consider with Cream is that week when Armada closes has such an amazing lineup for both rooms... Axwell (the new God of house) in the courtyard, and Above & Beyond in the main room with Paul Oakenfold! beat that... Just have a listen the the new Above & Beyond album - its 99% a perfect uplifting trance tastic (not too heavy) experience... i bloody love it!

That all said - i've heard a few 'top' DJ's lately and the sets have been pretty stunning and creative - so its gonna be hard to pick based on past reputation.

Do Cream @ Amnesia if you're 'up for it' and into the vibes and atmosphere!
Do F**k Me I'm Famous @ Pacha if you're posh and into mingeling!
 
Fortunately I'll be able to both FMIF & Cream this year! 8)

Cream 13th July (A&B,Ferry Corsten & Marco V)
FMIF 14th July (Sinclar & Guetta instead of Pure Pacha & Pete (yawn)Tong):D 8)

Can't wait especially for the FMIF party, seen Guetta recently and he was immense!
 
Carl Then To Armada

I think after reading other peoples opinions I am going to try and get my trance fix by going to Armada after Carl Cox. I think I will try and get to space between 9-10 and leave a little after 1. It is going to be hard to leave Space, but I think I can do it as long as I never walk in the discoteca room. Then go grab a quick bite to eat and head to Armada about 2. I think I will skip cream, I would rather hear Armin any day over Okie. I think he has his place but I am past it at 26. Last year I only went to Pacha for Pure but I really enjoyed it. The crowd seemed a little more upscale then the other club's, but nothing that bothered me. It was crowded, but every club I went to the week of August there was pretty crowded. As I said before the only one that was too crowded to even move was Cream. It is going to be a lot to go to Carl then Armada but it should be worth it. Really looking forward to hearing Bob Sinclar and Guetta on Thursday. On a side note if you think Pacha is too upscale just head onto the dance floor in the main room, the clubbers seemed the same as the other clubs I went to. Thanks for all your help.
 
The Schedule

I think the schedule will go like this arriving on Sun Aug 13

Sun We Love (Of Course) then after a disco nap
Mon DC 10 for Circo Loco
Tues Carl Cox till about 1:30-2:00 then off to Armada
Wed if feeling like it off to In Bed With Space (would really like to hear B. Tucker, well see may be to tired.) Recoup that night
Thurs F*** Me @ Pacha
Fri Pure Pacha with Tongy
Sat Matinee, not sure if all have the energy to go out at night if so probably Amnesia or El Divino for Head Kandi

Good schedule. Do try to get to In Bed with Space as Barbara Tucker is a lot of fun! I'm always unlucky because they start in July after I leave but I've seen her 3 or 4 times out here and I'm a fan.

Good choice for Thursday. Sinclar and Guetta are great DJs.
