Hey peeps!!

Could you tell me, is Cream @ Amnesia always held on a Thursday night? Coz im bac in Ibiza for 3rd yr, but wont be there on a Thursday night :cry:

Musically speaking, the main room at Cream was the worst night for me last year. When comparing it to Renaissance, carl cox, sundays at space, Cocoon, La Communidad and even Hed Kandi, it doesn't come close.

but cream is not a show, its nothing special.

its just like any other trance night in the world.

they have trance dj's (who are a little commercial now), the crowd is shit, ok its a good club, the light show was a let down.

the only thing you MUST experience if your going to go to cream, is the ice cannon. apart from that....theres nothing else.
 
I was really impressed with cream when we went, it was one of our best nights. It was Fat Boy slim and he was class!! I didn't think he would have been that good and I had never heard him before, but he did not diappoint!! As people have said though, its all a matter of personal opinion and preference isn't it??

Manumission is definitely a must because it is so different fr anything else, even if you do not like the music you still have to say you've been (and it is a show in itself so there's plenty to keep you occupied!) Its wrong to say that something is really bad coz someone else could find it really good, and it depend what kind of line up they have on the night!

i think you have the wrong night. the fatboy didn't play at cream last season....or at least i don't think he did. when did you go? i'll look on the clubbing calender for last season....

he did play at manu though, you sure your not confusing the two nights

Cream Opening Party @ Amnesia 98 was one of my best clubbing experiences ever.

Oakenfold (at his peak) and Nick Warren were absolutely fantastic.

Comparing years since then - it wasn't too rammed in there as well which left room to dance.

I find the nights there now far too busy. Also i ain't into the trance scene now so if i go to Cream now its the terrace room for me.

Cream @ Amnesia sounds like it would be somewhere u have to check out because of it's name and reputation but i dunno whether it would be my kinda ultimate clubbing experience? dont they have live sex shows there & shit like that? :oops: hahahaha..... it all sounds sooo surreal!!!

i didn't know there was a renaissance club? i thought they just had the 'night' @ one of the bigger clubs? is that correct? or is there a 'renaissance club'? Ohhhhhh my godness!!!! this anticipation is really way tooo much 4 the little discoplayer..... think i need 2 have a ciggie and try to calm down a little.... :P
 
cream at amnesia is the big trance night with pvd and tiesto as residents (well for the last 2 years anyway)

manumission is the one with the live sex show. this has never really appealed to me, i just imagine a load of horny lager louts drooling at the show for some reason.

renaissance was at pacha last year

Renaissance had a few nights at Pacha last year.

Cream was Tiesto and Paul Van Dyk last year. Tiesto played cheesy trance. If you like cheesy trance then you'll like Cream.

If you expect more from your DJ's and music, you really need to check out some of the better nights like Carl cox, some of the locally promoted nights, the underground, Sundays @ space etc
 
hehehe about Manumission... i dont really think i could deal with all that sorta shit (No matter what top-shelf DJ was playing) to tell u the truth :?

Pacha & Space were all on my list already & no, I am not in2 'cheesy' anything!!!! The very thought of 'cheesy trance' is spewville!!!! Is there anywhere to listen 2 like say 'older sounding' trance on ibiza? I dont even know what to call the trance that I like anymore the genres are sooooo extensive!!!..... but sorta the old EyeQ Stuff... can u hear trance like that anywhere in ibiza?

Also wanna check out that club 10DC (??) or whateva u call it. Heard about this one from a mate a few years back so am interested in sussing that too!!! anyone know who plays there?

Also Carl Cox's night is a MUST!!! What's his night called & where is it?

according to Gods Kitchen, he will be attending those party´s form now on due to their new musical structure (read more somewhere here)
