Sorry this is more of a music topic, but I am in the mood to hear fab stories and the music forum gets less play than this one does.
So whats the most radical moment you have had with a DJ? Like, when you made contact/felt like it was personal, met your fave DJ, etc. Anything goes.
Coolest is a Roger Sanchez story... last time I saw him I made a shirt... it was a black wife beater with the word "S-MAN" in big block letters (of course no one in the stupid, musically uneducated San Diego crowd knew what it meant haha) with rhinestones. He saw it, and we made eye contact while I was right in the front. He held his finger up to me like "wait one second." He crouched behind the decks, and when he came up, he was holding a full glass of champagne. He held it high and tipped it towards me... and mouthed the words "To you." I almost passed out/soiled myself. I would have paid a million dollars if someone snapped a photo of that moment.
Second was when I met Paul Oakenfold in Las Vegas... I mean, living legend as far as I'm concerned
Third, meeting Dave Seaman at El Divino, he took lots of pics with us and then walked all the way across the club WITH ME to find a pen so he could sign his autograph. Classy.
HAPPY FRIDAY... go!
