Most girlies I know can't/won't cook but most boys I know really like cooking and are good at it.

I'm a big fan of cooking when I've got the time. I like holding dinner parties especially, there's nothing better than when everyone tells you how yummy the food you've made is :D

I can cook better than all the girls I know actually, most of whom can't cook to save their lives!

What's chore? 8O

Most of my friends cook and enjoy cooking, both girls and boys. I like cooking lots, weekends and when friends are around (I'm mediterranean, we celebrate everything eating  ) but I hate the every day dinner cooking, it's boring cos I don't have time.
Pep is a great cooker too

I love cooking but I do find making dinner every night is a bit boring & a chore. I prefer cooking for groups of friends & being a bit more adventerous. Matt doesn't cook at all. He does the washing up!

I really enjoy cooking, it seems to relax me after work.

Erin on the other hand finds it a chore and cant really be bothered with it.

And Im better at it

;)

my missus has her moments in the kitchen but I do most of the cooking and enjoy it, most of my mates do the same...........dunno why there has been this role reversal over the past 10-15 years as we still get called upon to do the DiY stuff to :?

normally it means tareas domesticas..........but in this context it means they don't like doing it, its hard-work, difficult, time-consuming,e tc.

When you have to do something you don't want to do......you will hear "its a chore"

as a trained chef....
my talents kind of stagnated for a number of years, but my love & passion for food has been recently re-ignited, nowadays I love to cook, the more people there the better. I think having my own pad now has given me even more incentive to do it, also with the way cooking has become more "trendy" in the last 10 years thanks to Jamie Oliver, Rick Stein, Fearnley Whittingstall et al, I think it has made us all a bit more food concsious, we're all "foodies" now in a way, long may it continue. Jamie Oliver is right in what he says too, In Italy everyone has an opinion about food, it's part of their life, over here for too long we've been happy to eat processed & frozen shit, but I think we're slowly waking up!! ;)

I do over 50% of the cooking in our house. I just enjoy it - always have. Something to do with 'Baking with Mummy' when I was very young I guess.

Mrs Jam does cook but somehow it always comes in foil trays with card lids..... :?

I've been cooking since I was a kid. Love it, especially when you do something fancy or you cook for a bunch of people.

My wife's not a bad cook, but she doesn't especially enjoy it so I cook dinner 99% of the time.

I enjoy cooking and find it really relaxing, but am not so great - although i feel i could be really good with more practice

My G/F is a very good cook but doesn't enjoy it so much as she works with food (and people  ) all day in her job.

I love cooking and baking, all my friends piss themselves about this fact as apparently I 'don't seem the type' :?
I find it really relaxing, i'd rather spend a few hours pottering in the kitchen than watching TV.

........I've even got a magimix.....
