Looking for some advice for a night of clubbing in Newcastle on 1st weekend in Feb. Never been to the land of Geordie's and do not know a single club :!: . House, Progressive house, and breaks nites considered. Any help would greatly apprecaited as we celebrate our good friend;s last night of life as a single clubber :?

Was to Shindig a couple of years ago when me and my mates went to Newcastle on a stag party - you will love it! - quality house music!

I can highly recommend Shindig (I have to - its my mates club   ) I will be there for Sharam on 5th - its a good crowd but get there before last orders and the pubs empty otherwise the Q is rather large and its too cold to stand outside. What you can do to avoid the long Q is call the number below and arrange Q jumpers,

Best bars before (which are warm up bars for Shindig) are Tokyo (nr Central Station) or Stereo (on the Q side near the club)

Some fine anti-chav measures there pups.

Yeah - I came up with them all by my little old self!!

Its a funny club at times, you can spot the level of clubber by where you stand.

Down the front - pilled up - full on clubbers and jockey sluts and a really up for it crowd :D - (except for the strange area which has become a walkway across the dancefloor to the toilet - annoying beyond belief.
half way up the dance floor - pilled but yet still wary of the full on people at the front. - I find it quite cute here - people really starting to feel the music but just a tad to worried to totally let go.
Back of the dance floor - beer drinking, coke taking, pill taking (possibly a user of steriods) area - scary big shiny fellas. :?
Upstairs - spannered but still dancing. - a great area (A/C units are placed here also).
Back room - more soulful house (depending on who's playing but full of the bling crowd....) its a veritible journey of experiences....

Then of course you have the edges of the club - this is where you will find me - I have a great corner which is my domain, handy for bar, back stage, and a dance.

This does however depend on the DJ playing of course..... Great club tho, nonetheless.
