Clubbing in Malta

You are probably on the wrong forum for this but I have been clubbing in Malta. It was a few years back in 1998.

Most of the clubs that I went to were in the St Julian's Bay area. Can't remember the name of them all but I am sure one was Ministry of Time :?: and Axis :?:

Nothing like Ibiza though.......

I was on Malta last week, but then I got very sick (food poisening) and didn't make it to the clubs... :cry:

BUT: there was a dance festival on Monday with Armin Van Buuren, I heard it was a real success, Jeff Mills was there on Saturday, Sander Kleinenberg will play there this month and on August 27th Sasha returns to the island (read that while being in the hospital). Most of the action takes place in Buttuga Outdoors Club or something like that.

I live in Malta and just wanted to know how was your experience. Im sorry for the food posining but i think you choose the wrong dinner. :(


In fact i was at the festival on Monday with Armin Van Buren Hernan Cattaneao David Guetta Dr Cucho and Zombie nation. It was awsome. Jeff Mills rocked on Saturday. The next big 1 is on the 15 og AUG

I'm half Maltese and have been a couple of times.....favourite club will always be AXIS....... ;)
Malta is such a beautiful island; I'm glad more people are starting to know that it exists cuz normally when I tell people my mother is from there, they say, "maltese? whats that?"
 
Hi Nadia.

Good to know you like Malta. Axis is not that good anymore, like before but new open air clubs have opened, such as Gianpula, No 1, Paradise Bay and loads more. In summer many festivals are held and the club scene went wild. Im sure its worth a visit.

Good to know!! I will hopefully go back to visit some family soon.....when I do I'll check out the new places!! ;)
