Comfortable, cool and preferably nothing that shows the sweat up too much. Depends where you go, but think nice casual, nice t-shirt, loose cotton\linen shirt, loose trousers. Trainers ok but not scruffy. More laid back than the UK, but still try to look nice, but more chilled.
3/4 lengths are fine for the clubs, loads of people wear them. In most clubs though the air-con is brilliant, so jeans are fine too - could hinder your dance moves right enough 8)
wear what you want - you wont get knocked back (within reason )
provided you don't look like a druken yobbo, you can wear pretty much anything. Last year the fashionable thing for men to wear were 3/4 length shorts with a t-shirt with no sleeves. You can wear shorts and a t-shirt but personally i'ld never wear that to a club no matter how hot it was.
