You can moan and groan about crisis and doom as much as you like, next Wednesday is when Ibiza will kick the arse out of any party in Europe and do what it really does do best.
If you can find a better place for a Cadenza showcase than in the heart of the island, in an open air ampitheatre with a swimming pool surrounded by gardens, multiple arenas and the man like Luciano holding fort...then seriously, we'll eat our sombreros.
We wouldn't dare to mention it's hallowed name but for an island that has been viciously mourning the weekly chance to hear the Luce on a sun-shining terrace this season then Wednesday will really be as close as one could get. Accompanying Cadenza boss in his outdoor arena will be label fellows such as the fire hot remixer/producer Reboot, fellow Swiss Mirko Loco, Lee Van Dowski and Alex Picone in this the very first showcase of it's kind on the island.
If that wasn't enough, Arena Two also sees Parisian imprint Freak n Chic take the stage, similarly bringing the best from their house in the shape of island favourites Dan Ghenacia, Marc Anthony, Dyed Soundorom and Anthony Collins. Surely a combined line-up better than anything else seen so far this summer?
More of a festival than a club, The Zoo has been casually making it's mark on the island over the past few years and this week will fully affirm it's place in the clubbing map of Ibiza. With three arenas of sound, a BBQ running all day and plenty of room to explore, chill and rave in the daytime the Zoo's team of promoters have created the perfect environment to let loose, release your inner animal and really go wild.
Whereas the more established Saturday afternoons cater to a mainly British clubbing clientele, the new Wednesday afternoon of Channel Zoo has already played host to a collection of underground labels not usually seen in Ibiza and if you haven't had chance to check out this unique space this will clearly be the best opportunity.
Expect all the old faces to come crawling out of the wilderness, come early to experience the whole day turning into night, bring a bikini for jumping in and out of that pool, and definitely don't make any plans for later that night. There's a special after-party in the venue itself which will stretch into the early hours in true Ibiza style.
Unmissable.

Why is there no Zoo Project on the 22 August? And how come in all the videos on youtube everyone looks like their standing there facing forward?? Is Channel Zoo more or less the same thing? I am thinking of going to this as I now have a slot on Wednesday :) but there are only 2 vids of channel zoo on youtube so far and they don't give much away
I know I wouldnt mind knowing what the numbers have been like at channel zoo so far. obviously zoo project is well known and will always be busy but just thinking with this not being as well known is it gonna be busy. heard no reviews of channel zoo yet and havent see any vids
