Endure the 22 hour session @ Space :? ? Just wondering.

Any ways, many congratulations to the "Yella Jersey Man" from my former hometown of Austin. The town will surely be buzzing when he comes back. What a way to retire! Now he will have a lot more time to service his lady Sheryl Crow.
 
The man is amazing. He makes it look so easy.

Gotta wonder - did surviving the cancer treatment make him stronger? Maybe make his muscles more resistant to pain?

If it isn't that, then he's just a real-life superman. Truly impressive.

Did he usually do the Vuelta? A lot of people criticize him for focussing on the Tour de France and skipping the other big races like the Giro de Italia, etc. It's perhaps the one legitimate question of his greatness.

I'm not sure about La Vuelta but yesterday commentarists said he ends the season much less exhausted than others cos he doesn't do other main events like those :?
 
Thats the problem with cycling these days, its so much Tour focused, riders are basically judged by how many tours theyve won, and thats it.
At least Miguel Indurain won 2 Giro's in the first 2 years that he won the Tours.. Not being biased or anything here.. ;)

Still congratulations to Lance. Appart from his sporting achievements he seems to be a genuinely nice guy.

Whos going to win it next year?? I say Valverde :D

Why doesnt la Vuelta ever go through the toughest mountian climb in the world, El Angliru???!!!! That stage is always amazing. To watch professional cyclist having to get off their bike because the climb is too tough is very dramatic.

i think they've done this one the last two years on the trot! this year the big climb is puerto pajares on the way to leon from oviedo. i had difficulty getting up that one in my car, it's incredible.

I don't know, the game was quite strange cos except Deco players were changed at half time. He is supposed to give great "asistencias" and he is big and powerfull, a change for us.
And you, what do you think? :D

Actually, Morbyd the pain he indured while training helped Lance deal w/ the pain of the cancer treatment. He is an amazing athlete and individual, and he deserves all the accolades that he gets.
